From Inception to Today: The Story of Bitak, a Pioneer in Iran’s Paint Industry
Shimi Safa Paint Company, operating under the trade name Bitak, was founded in 1992 and officially began its operations in 2006 at the Shahid Salimi Industrial Zone in Tabriz. Over more than three decades of activity, Bitak has become one of the most reputable and leading brands in Iran’s paint industry.
The Secret to Bitak’s Success lies in the combination of three key factors:

These principles ensure that Bitak products not only meet domestic market demands but also excel in exports. A successful presence in over 10 countries and being selected as a model exporter in 2022 (1401) is clear evidence of this path.
Development Phase
In 2020 (1399), Bitak made a major leap in its development by investing in a 30,000-square-meter facility in the Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani Industrial Town. The launch of this complex in 2022 (1401) significantly increased production capacity, created employment opportunities, and strengthened Bitak’s position in domestic and global markets.
In 2024 (1403), Mr. Hadi Najafifar, Bitak’s young CEO, received the “National Young Manager” award—an honor reflecting Bitak’s commitment to innovative leadership and the younger generation.
